Useless Paradox

  • when you are told that you are useless over and over you begin to believe it . But the paradox comes when you are told by this same person that he loves and adores you and that he is in love with you . Then in the next hour you are useless again because you can’t make popcorn, because you challenge him when he tells you that you suck . He looks at you with the same eyes that fell in love with you and says “bitch you are useless . Great women are rare and YOU are not one of them you cunt. You are ordinary and ordinary women need to DIE”
  • well guess what asshole ? I already WANT to die . YOU crushed my soul. YOU ALREADY KILLED ME .
  • As I write, I listen to this man that I thought I knew , say the sickest things to himself . And why do I let it get to me? Because I am sensitive . I am a loving , over sensitive idiot .
  • These suicidal thoughts and feelings that I have were never here before this man… How is this possible ? How can I let HIM have so much power over me ? Because I LOVE too much and I seem to have a weak spot for sociopaths .
  • So yes, I’m useless . I’m nothing that I ever was and the way I feel right now I will never even leave this room because I pray I will conveniently die .
  • My words to you are to save yourself before he kills your spirit , then your soul and then you kill yourself .

Power of Attorney for Siri

John Rector

notebook pen moneyVery soon I will be able to grant Siri a durable power of attorney to act on my behalf in certain affairs. She will decide for me.  I liken this to an armed drone versus a recon drone. Once Siri has my power of attorney, She no longer needs me. I call this “Zero Clicks“.

She will decide how to spend my money. She will decide which events I should attend. She will decide which charity I support.

I decide her budget.  I help her decide for me with every click I make.

We computer geeks think about Search Engine Optimization (SEO) all the time. When Siri has my power of attorney, she will optimize my wallet.  I will no longer SEARCH for shoes. Siri will simply buy my shoes and have them shipped to an appropriate physical address.  I say “appropriate physical address” because she knows…

John Rector solves the Minority Report Problem

John Rector

Fractal City series. Backdrop design of three dimensional fractal structures and lights to provide supporting element for illustrations on technology, communications, education and science Fractal City series.

In Minority Report he solved the crime of murder by arresting the perpetrators PRIOR to the actual crime.  Obviously there is an inherent flaw in this wishful model.  I solved the problem.  We arrest AFTER.  Hold on.  Follow me.  I know that sounds weird, but watch what happens. . .

Everyone at birth is also digitally registered.  You may have aliases, but you are you.  In any tribe of 300 of more there is always a criminal element.  EVERYONE is registered.  Everyone!

SO! Anyway, He’s thinking murder or rape or theft or whatever.  He’s thinking it anyway.  God bless his soul.  HE CAN’T GET AWAY WITH IT!  If he breaks and enters . . . a camera identifies him and the po-po is there in a few heartbeats.

CRIME DROPS 90% AT LEAST!

The secret sauce to this futuristic model is that WE don’t feel our privacy is violated.  NO!  That…

ZERO CLICKS

John Rector

We can all use an extra pair of hands.

We all have busy lives.

Time is precious and stretched.

You are sleep deprived.

You are disorganized.

You are wonderful at a few things.  Thank God for your wonderfulness.  Without your unique wonderfulness, we don’t need you. #justsayin.

As humans we have an inherent flaw.  We LOVE to help each other.  It’s a terrible flaw but it is what it is. 🙂

The trick is making it easy to help.

Many times we have moments where a small act of kindness (either giving or receiving) is the perfect solution.

I’ll make it easy as pie for you to help others that you choose.

ZERO CLICKS

But you have to do your part.

You have to be YOU.   Anonymity must die for WE (ALL of US) to evolve.

If you are hiding behind a curtain, my dog can STILL smell you.

Mommy Glass

John Rector

baby and motherOne of the many wonderful things all the mommies in my life (Elizabeth, Tari, Terri, etc.) taught me is how much you need help.

You all juggle so many balls in the air.  You all care more about your family than yourself.  You have to be here, there and the otherwhere all at the same time.

You all have glass (pods, phones, pads, monitors).  In the very near future your glass will be your best friend.  You will treasure it more than any diamond, heirloom or favorite memory.  HE (your glass) will

  1. wake you,
  2. remind you,
  3. tell you (ever so politely),
  4. find your keys,
  5. report on your kids’ current status,
  6. alert you,
  7. predict your next 2 moves,
  8. counsel you even when you don’t feel like being counseled,
  9. shop for you,
  10. deal with your dumbass husband,
  11. have people that love you, help you on demand,
  12. change your tire (refer to #11)

Why we are in love?: Quantum Entanglement

John Rector

You may have asked yourself more than once “Why do I want to be in love?”  The answer is simple: Quantum Entanglement.

Sunset on Isle of Palms, Winter 2015 Sunset on Isle of Palms, Winter 2015

You were designed to have a partner.  Your partner can be close or very distance.   It doesn’t matter.  You are “entangled”.  Your partner will exhibit the following traits when entangled:

1. Their mood changes your mood simultaneously.

2. Their magnetic force is opposite of yours.  (If you are negative, she/he is positive and vice versa)

3. Their molecular structure is not only revealed but displayed in a way only you can comprehend.

4. Their distance is felt.  You are entangled, so you don’t really notice it.  but the greater the distance, the string widens its harmony.  The sine wave amplifies by 1.34 degrees per 1,000 kilometers.  However, the response signal is spontaneous.  The response to the emission is actually faster…

Siri “What is the last conversation I had with Elizabeth?”

John Rector

One of the bigger (if not the biggest) value propositions for “glass” (phone, pad, monitor) in 2015 is CONSOLIDATION and INTEGRATION of conversations (and mutual locations, but that’s another story)

Situation Analysis:

Mobile applications conceptElizabeth texts me.  I see a notification on my iPad.  My iPad just happens to be the glass closest to me at the moment.  I enter my password and I’ve already forgotten if it was a text, email, private Facebook message, Twitter DM (direct message), LinkedIn message or a FaceTime.  I can’t just ask Siri “What is the last conversation I had with Elizabeth?”

Problem Statement:

I spend countless hours in individual apps looking for conversation trails that are somewhere but NOT voice accessible.

Solution Statement:

ME: Siri “What is the last conversation I had with Elizabeth?”

SIRI: “Elizabeth private messaged you on Facebook at 11:04am on Tuesday.  Would you like me to read you the message?”

ME:…
